This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Colombia on 7 November 2023. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made to Colombia in its previous UPR, including in relation to human rights defenders, rights of women and girls, freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and impunity. It also assesses the national human rights framework regarding human rights defenders, rights of women and girls, freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, and impunity.
