Successful candidates will be able to reserve an interview slot through our online scheduling service.
We will confirm if this is to be a remote interview conducted by video and will work with you to ensure we have the correct connection in place. For face to face interviews, which are usually held in the location of the vacancy, we will work with you to arrange reasonable travel and accommodation expenses.
You may be asked to take practical online tests to assess your technical ability to perform in the role. Some tests may require advance preparation but please be advised that this is usually not the case.
We endeavour to provide you with feedback on your interview performance and tests and will let you know when we have a decision about your application.
If you are invited to an interview which is not local to you we will ask you to either connect with us for the interview via Microsoft Teams. We may ask you to go to the nearest Amnesty International office to your home to participate in the interview remotely. If you are invited to an interview that requires you to travel over 100 miles, please confirm the details with us as we use a specific travel partner who will book trains / flights / hotels. By working with our travel partner we will obtain the most competitive price. Please note, we will not be able to reimburse you should you book your travel without checking in with us first. You must also supply original receipts to in order to be reimbursed for your travel expenses.
Following an offer of employment, we will conduct pre-employment checks only when you give us your permission to proceed. This relates to your right to work, any relevant background checks and contacting your two most recent professional referees.
